Music to Help you Chill, Relax, and Lull You to Sleep

The Piano Guys have done it again, but this time they have released not one, but TWO albums! That’s right, I said TWO albums, and might I say, they are amazing!

The Piano Guys’ newest album Chill & Lullaby  was released on October 29^th, 2021. And they are pretty cool, especially the tracks on those albums.

In addition to several of their own songs, The Piano Guys cover songs on Chill  by artists such as: The Temptations, Wham, Adele, Twenty-One Pilots, Guns N’ Roses, Whitney Houston, Lewis Capaldi, Calum Scott, Righteous Brothers, Ben Platt, and Justin Bieber. 

The songs on Chill are “My Girl,” “Wake me up Before You Go-Go,” “Someone like You,” “Stressed Out,” “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” “I Will Always Love You,” “Jupiter,” “Abraham Lincoln Tribute,” “Before You Go,” “You are the Reason,” “Unchained Melody,” “Grow as We Go” and “Anyone.” 

The album Chill is a great album to relax to, study to, or  even just to have as nice background music. Honestly, I was kind of surprised that they took a classic rock song from back in the day, the song “Sweet Child O’ Mine” by Guns N’ Roses, and played around with it to make it a classical piece. 

But I wasn’t disappointed because the end result turned out to be great. 

Let’s move onto the other album, Lullaby. Unlike Chill, Lullaby has some fantastic tunes. 

Lullaby has a mixture of classical pieces and pop songs that we are all familiar with and we all know and love.

The artists of the songs that The Piano Guys cover on Lullaby are Survivor, Claude Debussy, Old Lady, The Police, Phil Collins, Yiruma, Giacomo Puccini, Johann Sebastian Bach, George Friderick Handel, Billy Joel, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Mother Goose Club.

The songs on Lullaby are “Eye of the Tiger,” “Clair de Lune,” “Chopsticks Lullaby,” “All Good,” “Every Breath you Take,” “You’ll Be in My Heart,” “River Flows in You,” “Nessun Dun,” “Jesu Joy,” “Harmonious Blacksmith,” “Lullabye (Goodnight my Angel),” “Ode to Joy” and “Row Your Boat.” 

If you need music to fall asleep to, Lullaby is the perfect album for you to listen to. The names of both Chill and Lullaby explain why they are two separate albums. Each album is different in its own way. 

In other words, one album helps you kick back and relax, while the other album helps lull you to sleep.

The Piano Guys newest albums are AMAZING! I mean the talent these guys have at combining and mashing up tunes, and putting them together into one song is quite phenomenal. Being able to take a popular piece of music and making it twist to fit their own style… now that’s a talent within itself!
