A poem by Gian Garmendia

As I lie among the wondrous sea, I embrace my freedom of shape. I am a blank canvas. I am

drawn in built from lied in. Sorties: I am the embodiment of perspective.

The splendorous sun, bathed me in its warm rays.

Warm. Hot. Burning.

My once fluid form,is constricted by a clear tundra. My purpose confined.

My tan complexion, replaced with nothing. No color, no shift of shape, no personality to my

being.

I am completely transparent to the world.

…..

…….

An object collides with my clear body. Pieces of my being scatter across the floor. And in my

final moments, I am reminded of the freedom I once had.
