Dear Future Me,
This is the 23 year old version of you coming to you live and in thought. We are currently on a mission to complete our bachelors degree and be the first out of five kids to graduate from college. While it unfortunately will take more than four years to achieve, you will always deserve that pat on the back. The possibilities are endless of the life you made for yourself. I can see you twiddling through your past work on google docs, maybe clearing out unnecessary documents and stumbling upon this piece. You’ll be reading this off of a hologram because there’s no way it hasn’t been invented by then. Maybe during this same time you’ll be married, have kids, own a house and have that career you struggled to find. No matter what your life has turned into, I hope you’re okay. I have the highest of hopes for you because we’ve never looked back, only steered forward. Regrets were never in our policy and everything happens for a reason, whether we liked it or not. So, wherever you are, whatever you’ve achieved and whoever you’ve become, I hope you’re happy.
Sincerely,
The memory of you
