A Glimpse Into the Future of Fashion Freedom

Be prepared for full transparency- New York Fashion Week has declared the return of the free the nipple trend with sheer fabrics.
Leaving little to the imagination, skin revealing jumpsuits and dresses opened the eye to 2019’s future fashion freedom.
One look that stood out was a purple jumpsuit from Laquan Smith. Other designers such as Ulla Johnson, Mansur Gavriel, Jason Wu, and Jeremy Scott took part in this trend that highlights the freedom of the female body.
With our current wardrobe resembling much of the 1970’s colors and flare designs, New York Fashion week did not disappoint to highlight these hippie styles.
Western classics such as fringe and cowboy boots are predicted to return as hits this spring.
Surprising enough, cowboy boots were featured in street style at every corner. Traditionally, these boots can be paired with anything flare or flowing.
Ditching this long-standing convention, many of the cowboy boots were worn with modern and sleeker-shaped outfits.
A fan favorite were the boots that Aimee Song, song of style juxtaposed with an oversized silk shirt.
New York Fashion Week also took the opportunity to revive our souls with bold colors.
A palette that made all of us feel energetic and fierce. The array of colors displayed throughout NYFW sprouted the excitement for Spring/Summer 2019 already.
Nothing was kept neutral by flaunting neon hues and sunny shades such as marigold yellow.
Yellow blazers, as well as yellow two-piece suits were fierce, yet practical.
By using bold colors paired with business-like attire, you can feel classy, fun, sophisticated, and even sexy.
Keeping coordinates and sets in mind, many matchy–matchy looks from head-scarf to handbag were featured on the runway in a diversity of styles.
Not only were bright colors and bold patterns a staple during NYFW, printed headgear also prevailed to be a showstopper. Printed head scarves and bucket hats will be likely become an accessory that everyone will find trendy this coming spring.
To prepare for next season: expect amped up evening wear, dresses in chiffon with extravagant ruffles, fringe leather jackets, and co-ordinate sets.
