After four games, the Chicago Bulls and the Warriors are the most impressive with a 4-0 record each.

The NBA returns for another season after the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Phoenix Suns on July 20, 2021. After the historic and impressive win, the Bucks had to start the season against the Brooklyn Nets. 

The Bucks excellently started their title defense as they took the win by a favorable score of 127-104. Giannis scored 32 points for the Bucks and continued his top form from last season.

The Bucks would suffer their first loss in their second game against the Heat. The Heat dominated, and the scoreline showed it when the game ended 137-95. 

When writing, the Bucks just lost their second game against the Minnesota Timberwolves in a tight match that ended 113-108 in favor of the Timberwolves. 

For the Eastern Conference, the teams who started on the wrong foot were the Pistons, who haven’t won a game at writing. The Celtics, Magic, Pacers, and the Toronto Raptors have more losses than wins. 

The Brooklyn Nets, with their squad, haven’t impressed much and currently have a 2-3 record after five games. 

The Hawks, who were impressive last season, currently have a 3-1 record after four games. Their only loss was against the Cavaliers, who also started decently in this new NBA season. 

The Miami Heat, who were finalists in the NBA finals back in 2020, look like their old selves after securing a 3-1 record as well. The Hornets with LaMelo Ball are starting stronger and have a 4-1 record after five games. 

The only undefeated team in the Eastern Conference are the Chicago Bulls, who won their first four games. Can the Bulls keep up this top form throughout the season, or is it too soon to call?

The Western Conference includes the runners-up from last season, the Phoenix Suns. They have had a bad start to the new season as their record after four games are 1-3. 

The Spurs, Clipper, and the Rockets also share a 1-3 after four games. The Pelicans and Oklahoma City Thunder have the worst record at the start of the season as both have a 1-4 record after five games.

The 2020 NBA champs, LA Lakers, had a tough start after playing the Warriors, the Suns, and the Spurs, a game that led to overtime. The Lakers now have a 2-3 record after five games, and Russell Westbrook looks to get with Lebron James and Anthony Davis.

The Sacramento Kings, the Trail Blazers, Nuggets, and the Grizzlies all have 2-2 records after four games and are decent starts for these four teams. The Timberwolves, as discussed before, defeated the Bucks and looked to improve their good start after winning three and losing one against the Pelicans. 

Utah Jazz is currently in second place in the Western Conference after three games and has a 3-0 record. 

The Warriors, along with the Chicago Bulls, are the only team undefeated after four games. They have a 4-0 record playing against the Lakers, the Clippers, the Kings, and OKC. 

Stephen Curry scored 116 points after the four games and scored 45 points against the Clippers. This performance has proved to be a great start to the season for the Warriors after an average performance last time out.

The NBA season is here, and with a long season ahead, it looks to be a closer season than the previous one. Good to have basketball nights back!
