Pamela Anderson has led a very interesting lifestyle. From being a Playmate to being married to Tommy Lee from Motley Crue and Kid Rock. Life for her was very rough even when she was a child. Her parents were on and off fighting with each other. When Pamela’s mother was pregnant with Gerry (Pamela’s brother) her parents got into a horrible fight and her father left for days. As

Anderson grew up, she suffered more traumas along the way. When she was a child, she was molested by her babysitter who was a young woman. According to page 28, “In my case, it was a young female babysitter who sexualized me very early, forcing me to play weird games on her body”. She grew up being a tomboy. So, she was more interested in creepy crawling insects instead of beauty and makeup.

When she got her break, Pamela went to a Canadian football game. She was wearing a Blue Zone Beer shirt at the game. When suddenly, she wound up on the Jumbotron and everyone was chanting her name. This led to her deal with Playboy.

Playboy was very good for Pamela and all of the Playmates. They were very much protected. For instance, when they went on trips and the other girls would get themselves into dangerous situations. Anderson on the other hand did not go and told Playboy about the escapades, which resulted in her being called the tattle tale.

After Playboy called her name, she went and starred on Baywatch as famed lifeguard C.J. (Casey Jean). The notoriety she got from the show turned her into the highest paid actresses in Hollywood. Mattel made the C.J. Barbie, which is the highest selling doll to date. The team even had to make “Pamela clauses” to her contract because of how famous she had become.

After a lot of trial and error with relationships she met the man that she married for the first time. Tommy Lee from Motley Crue. Pam and Tommy met in a club called Sanctuary that was in L.A. at the time. She bought him and his friends’ shots for the V.I.P. table. When she went over to the table, Tommy fell head over heels for the actress. She went to Cancun, Mexico for work. He followed her there and before you know it the two were married on the beach. They were madly in love with each other.

They welcomed their first son Brandon Thomas Lee during an in-home birth. As Pamela describes her son. He was a “gorgeous blue-eyed baby boy.” They called him “Our baby burrito” The couple did not leave the house for a while after having Brandon. Their home was always surrounded by paparazzi 24/7. That if the baby was sick or needed a checkup the doctor had to come to the house.

After they had Brandon, the couple welcomed their second and final son Dylan Jagger Lee. He was a peaceful, an angel, and the buddha baby. After having Dylan. Pamela said goodbye to Baywatch and hello to family life.

Pam and Tommy were having work done on the house for a couple of months. Tommy went to go check the safe, which was the size of a refrigerator, when they found that the safe was gone. There were items in the safe such as the bathing suit Pam got married in, Tommy’s collection of guns, and some videos. There was one video in that safe that should never have been seen. It was the infamous Pamela and Tommy sex tape. They got a phone call warning that someone had the tape. They were offered five million dollars in cash for the right from them. Tommy found on the news that someone was selling VHS tapes of the couple in front of Tower Records while having a porn actress sign them dressed up as Pamela Anderson. The sex tape was not actually a sex tape. The person who stole had someone edit and splice it together to make it look that way, but it was to hurt Anderson’s career more than Lee’s.

After the tape things were not the same with the couple. They were constantly fighting when Tommy hit Pamela with Dylan in her arms, which led to a restraining order against him. They then divorced and both moved on.

Fast forward to the present. Pamela lives in Canada on the beach. Also has starred in Chicago on Broadway as Roxie Hart for an 8-week engagement. She quietly lives her life and is happy. I personally loved the book. It gave a lot of insight into her life with growing up, becoming famous in the way that she did, learning about love in all shapes and forms.
