Hello there, my name is Elina Milimoh, the newest editor in chief of CSI’s only official student newspaper “The Banner”. Ever since I joined the banner in 2022, I’ve found myself excited to write with the approach of every new semester, especially as it helps me become more a part of the social, economic, and political conversations that take place on our college campus. With all the plans we have for this fall, we hope to foster a better appreciation for media, Journalistic writing, and uncovering new truths never seen before, in students that are interested in gaining a better understanding of what is actually going on within their school community. We are always on the search for new members and club officers to help grow our organization whether that is through recruiting beat reporters, in action photographers, marketing managers, and even live report broadcasters. The banner is a home to every one of every demographic and all skill sets, I can wait to see what it has in store for us this fall! Join us this Thursday, September 5th in our publications office (Room 228) located in the Campus Center (Building 1C) for one of our weekly meetings starting at 3pm.
