It has finally arrived, the Super Bowl is upon us, and the two teams that will be looking to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Both teams won their conferences respectively during the playoffs and many will be excited to see the battle of the top quarterbacks in the NFL today.

On one hand, we have the exciting young future of the NFL Patrick Mahomes, who had a great season with the Chiefs again after winning the Super Bowl last year. Mahomes improved this year with 38 touchdowns and completed 4,740 yards this season.

On the other hand, we have one of the greatest if not the greatest players in NFL history, Tom Brady. This will be his tenth appearance in the Super Bowl and his first without the Patriots, the team he won six Super Bowl rings with.

This season, Brady again shows his quality and scored 40 touchdowns and completed 4,633 yards.

The Buccaneers had an interesting season, with some difficulties along the way to the conference finals. Their record this season was 14 wins and five losses.

They placed in a wild card round in which they defeated the Washington football team. From there they continued in the playoffs, defeating the Saints and making the Conference finals against the Green Bay Packers.

The Green Bay Packers were the heavy favorites to win the conference since they clinched the conference, but the Buccaneers managed to defend the plays from Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers managed to throw three touchdowns but was struggling in the fourth quarter to find the touchdown that could’ve won them the game. Brady also had three touchdowns but also had three interceptions.

It was a tight game butthe Buccaneers got there in the end to win the NFC championship.

The Kansas Chiefs this season had an impressive record with 16 wins and only two losses. The Chiefs clinched the conference and played the Browns in the divisional round.

In the AFC conference final, the Chiefs played the Buffalo Bills. The Bills quarterback, Josh Allen, threw two touchdowns and had one interception.

Meanwhile, Mahomes threw three touchdowns and the Chiefs scored five touchdowns in total. The Chiefs defeated the Bills with a score of 38-24 and got to go to the Super Bowl again, looking forward to becoming back-to-back champs.

In the regular season, the Buccaneers and the Chiefs did play a game against each other in which the Chiefs won, coincidentally at the Buccaneers home stadium. Even though the Chiefs won that game, it was a very close game.

Brady threw three touchdowns that game and had two interceptions. Mahomes also threw three touchdowns that game but a field goal was the difference-maker. The final result was 27-24 in favor of the Chiefs and ever since that game, the Buccaneers haven’t lost a game.

The Chiefs are the favorites to win the Super Bowl and the Buccaneers seem to be the underdogs. It is a close game to call and many people don’t want to bet against Tom Brady.

This Chiefs team is imposing though, so it’s due to be a very entertaining and tactical game.

The Super Bowl will be played on Sunday, February 7th, 2021 with a limited attendance present. The famous Canadian singer, the Weeknd, will perform at the halftime show this year.

So now that the stage is set. Will Tom Brady win his seventh Super Bowl ring, or will Mahomes win his second Super Bowl ring in a row?

  1. The game proves that one person can’t win a Superbowl. Mahones is just another, but very skilled player. Brady is just another, but very skilled and determined, player, but he makes everyone around him believe.
